Allow me to introduce myself properly - **drum roll** - I'm Cara, I'm 20 years old, and I'm a shop-oholic. I work with the Study Abroad and Exchange Office at the University of Wollongong while completing my Arts/Law degree and i'm giving anyone who is interested in the International Exchange Program at UOW the opportunity to follow me through my own exchange period at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. The aim of this blog is for me to tell all of you about what I experience during my exchange and maybe even answer some of your questions before you've had time to think of them.

OMIGOD Cara, you are safe. I just saw the news about the Uni of Illinois and I wasn't sure if you were there or not. I couldn't find this blog site, so, I emailed the student exchange department at the uni cause I was worried about you. Then I freaked out about freaking out the student exchange office. But there could be UOW students at Illinois too. I hope all UOW students at Illinois are safe. I can't believe how much of an influence your blog has had on me, I immediately thought of you when I heard the news. Your wonderful writing style obviously creates an intimacy with your readers.
I hope you are having fun over there anyway.
